Terms and Conditions

3.1 Minimum age

You must be at least 16 years old to register on the Platform.

Users under 16 may only use the Platform through the minor registration flow: the minor registers with a nickname and a guardian email address. The account is activated only after guardian consent verification by email. Full details are in the Privacy Policy.

3.2 Accuracy of data

Users must provide truthful, complete and up-to-date information during registration and use. Role and team selection must correspond to reality.

Futbolea reserves the right to suspend or cancel accounts linked to false, incomplete or fraudulent data.

3.3 One account per person

Each person may hold only one account. Multiple accounts for score manipulation, restriction evasion or any other improper purpose are prohibited.

Guardians who verified a minor account may also create their own separate account with a different role. This is not considered a duplicate account.

3.4 Role and team selection

During registration, users select their role and linked team, including sporting category. This determines available surveys and participation context.

Users may request role or team changes at any time through channels published on futbolea.com.

4.1 General principle

Users must use the Platform responsibly, honestly and respectfully. Use must comply with law, these Terms and the objective of improving the human experience in grassroots football.

4.2 Truthful, experience-based feedback

• Respond only about matches in which you were present or participated.
• Reflect your honest perception without deliberate exaggeration or minimization.
• Do not respond on behalf of third parties, except minors under guardian verification.

4.3 Prohibited content

• Defamatory, offensive, discriminatory or rights-violating content.
• Publicly identifying or exposing specific players, coaches, referees or family members to cause harm.
• Manipulating Futbolea Scores via coordinated campaigns, fake reviews or fictitious accounts.
• Unauthorized commercial use of the Platform or its content.
• Technical interference, unauthorized access attempts or introduction of malicious code.

4.4 Content moderation

Futbolea may review, moderate and remove content that breaches these Terms or harms the community, including suspicious survey responses.

Moderation does not make Futbolea responsible for user-generated content. Futbolea operates as infrastructure, not as editor.

5.1 Nature of scores

Futbolea Score generates aggregated ratings from 1 to 5 stars per match, team, club and venue, based on user survey responses in three dimensions.

Scores reflect aggregated community perceptions, not judgments issued by Futbolea. Futbolea does not guarantee accuracy, completeness or representativeness.

5.2 Methodology

Scores are calculated as weighted averages by dimension. Futbolea may set minimum participation thresholds before publication. Detailed methodology is available on futbolea.com.

5.3 Publication and visibility

Scores are visible within the Platform. No individual disaggregated metrics are published; only the three aggregated dimensions and overall score are displayed.

5.4 Right of reply for clubs

Evaluated clubs or venue managers may publish a visible response alongside their score by contacting Futbolea, verifying standing and submitting compliant content.

5.5 Dispute mechanism

Clubs may dispute a score through a two-phase process: complaint and review. Futbolea may confirm, rectify, temporarily remove the score, or publish the club response within a maximum of 15 business days.

This is an internal Futbolea mechanism and does not limit any legal action available to the complainant.

6.1 Voluntary nature

Accepting commercial communications is voluntary and not required to use the Platform.

6.2 Types of communications

• Futbolea newsletters and service updates.
• Partner and sponsor communications selected by Futbolea.
• Federation and club ecosystem communications.

6.3 Channels

Communications may be sent via email, WhatsApp and mobile push notifications, according to user preferences.

6.4 Consent and revocation

Consent is independent by communication type and can be revoked at any time through settings, unsubscribe links, leaving channels or device notification settings.

6.5 Users under 16

No commercial communications are sent to users under 16 in any circumstance.

9.1 By Futbolea

Futbolea may suspend or terminate accounts for breaches of these Terms, false data, score manipulation or harmful use of the service.

9.2 By the user

Users may cancel their account at any time. Cancellation includes deletion of account and personal data according to the Privacy Policy, while keeping anonymized aggregated survey contributions that no longer identify the user.
